Jaco Surf Association;s first surf contest is this weekend November 28th and 29th in front of the Jaco Best Western.  This contest is to help support surfing and education!  Student surfers with good grades can participate in a surf contest in which only students with letters from their schools can participate! Costs are 10,000 , 8,000  or 6,000 in colones for University, Colegio, escuela, inscription at the BEST WESTERN FRIDAY from 7-9 p.m.. Tabacon will be hosting a special fiesta complete with a new Billabong movie--Prizes have been donated from businesses thruout the community including support from the Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce.  There is something for everyone.  The Costa Rican National Team will participate and be supporting the event by hosting a tshirt signing!
